HOW YOU CAN HELP HCCT
While we generate some revenue off ticket sales, we greatly depend on the generosity of patrons like you to keep producing the same high quality theatrical productions you’ve come to expect from us.
GIVE THE GIFT OF ARTS EDUCATION
The Phyl Holbert Scholarship Fund
Phyl Holbert was a co-founder of HCCT, along with Gigi Fischer, and the Phyl Holbert College Scholarship Fund enables young people to pursue careers in technical theatre or performing arts.
When you partner with us, this fund becomes a tribute to the work of these young volunteers and a positive step toward their success in the arts.
As a strong supporter of the Hill Country Community Theatre, we believe you will be excited about an opportunity to encourage education in the arts, as well as a way to assure that high caliber young people continue with their artistic growth.
This is a great way for you and all of us to say, “Thank you! Job well done!” to those kids who have volunteered their time and talent to help HCCT!
Criteria for consideration include volunteerism at HCCT, and an interest in pursuing technical theatre or performing arts at an accredited college.
SEND A KID TO CAMP
Bob Turnbaugh Youth Theatre Fund
Bob Turnbaugh was a founding member of the theatre, and he had a significant impact on the Hill Country Community Theatre as it grew. Like all of us here, Bob believed in the power of theatre and the importance of arts education. Through The Bob Turnbaugh Youth Summer Theatre Scholarship Fund, you can change a child’s life forever.
But we need your help to keep the program going ! HCCT is seeking donations to help students attend our Youth Summer Theatre Program. With your help, all students–regardless of their economic situation–have access to theatre and arts education.
Besides being crazy amounts of fun, being involved in theatre also has tons of great benefits in terms of development and socialization. It’s probably no surprise that participating in theatre can boost a child’s self-esteem and confidence. Theatre is a place where inner silliness and creativity are embraced. When children learn to be more confident in themselves, it translates to other aspects of their lives, like school, communication, and social situations.
Please consider giving the gift of art to a well-deserving child.
Mike Rademaekers Talent Development Fund
Mike Rademaekers, Executive Director for Hill Country Community Theatre (2014-2021), was instrumental in identifying and developing talent for the theatre among aspiring individuals of all ages, as well as for nurturing the gifts of actors, singers, technicians, and other artists in the community. This memorial fund will be used to continue Mike’s work in supporting young and emerging talent in all areas of theatre and performance art.

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. The event takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving each year.
