The Phyl Holbert College Scholarship Fund was established in honor of HCCT co-founder, Phyl Holbert, and offers support to young individuals pursuing careers in technical theatre or performing arts. By joining forces with us, you can help celebrate these young volunteers' dedication and hard work and help them succeed in their artistic endeavors.
As a valued supporter of Hill Country Community Theatre, we know that you share our passion for promoting arts education and supporting talented young individuals. Your contribution to this fund will encourage education in the arts and provide a pathway for exceptional young individuals to continue their artistic growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for all of us to express our gratitude and appreciation to the kids who have generously volunteered their time and talent to assist HCCT. Criteria for eligibility include volunteerism at HCCT and a keen interest in pursuing technical theatre or performing arts at an accredited college.
Bob Turnbaugh, a founding Hill Country Community Theatre member, played a significant role in its growth and success. He shared HCCT's belief in the transformative power of theatre and the importance of arts education. HCCT has established The Bob Turnbaugh Youth Summer Theatre Scholarship Fund to honor Bob's legacy and continue his work. Your contribution can make a lifelong difference in a child's life. HCCT is seeking donations to enable students to attend our Youth Summer Theatre Program, regardless of their financial situation. Participation in theatre is not only incredibly enjoyable, but it also has significant developmental and social benefits for children. Through theatre, children can boost their confidence, self-esteem, and creativity, which can positively impact other areas of their lives. Please consider giving the gift of art to a deserving child and supporting HCCT in continuing to provide theatre and arts education to young people in the community.
