Summer Youth Theatre Camp 2026
Join us for an unforgettable theatrical adventure at Hill Country Community Theatre’s Summer Youth Theatre Camp, running July 6th–19th, 2026! Designed for students ages 8–17, this two-week camp meets Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM and is led by the dynamic directing duo, Jordan and Christine Jones. Campers will build confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills as they rehearse, explore character development, and bring a full musical production of Disney's Newsies Jr. to life—all culminating in four public performances.
Set in turn-of-the-century New York City, Newsies Jr. is the high-energy tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic teen who rallies a band of young newsboys to strike against unfair working conditions. Inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899, this rousing musical features catchy songs, thrilling dance numbers, and an empowering message about standing up for what’s right. Whether your child is a seasoned performer or new to the stage, our camp offers a fun and supportive environment for all!
EARLY REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN APRIL 1, 2026
